Hi everyone! My name is Amanda Rzepczynski. I’m nineteen years old, am from Columbia, Illinois, and am a graduate from Columbia High School. I’m currently attending Maryville University with the intention of earning my master’s degree in occupational therapy. I’ve been competitively swimming since I was eight. When I was ten I joined FAST (Flyers Aquatic Swim Team) which is located in St. Louis. I swam competitively at FAST for six years but retired from swimming when I was sixteen due to other commitments at school. However, in my senior year of high school, I joined a less-competitive team to finish out my swimming career. Last year I was the co-coach of the Columbia Hurricanes Swim Team, where we took third in conference. I have been giving private and group swim lessons for the past two years as well as life guarding my local pool for a year. I’m really excited to get to know everyone and having a great swim season! Go Dolphins!
